Mr. Garber has cab interests in Chicago and in YELLOW CAB SLS JET in New York City. He lives in New York and commutes to Chicago for three to four days a week.

Mr. Garber has begun raising money for the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago and works with an after-school program operated by Maggie Daley, the wife of Mayor Richard M. Daley.

His ultimate goal is to open shop throughout America, in five or six more cities.
