Where others would be naysayers, we would lead and help the City achieve its goals, indeed we would lead the way. Our members were carefully selected as the most dynamic and visionary entrepreneurs in New York. Today GNYTA has expanded on its founding vision to encompass the full panoply of practical, technical and regulatory issues that impact the industry and therefore all who live, work and visit New York City.

GNYTA’s goal is not to be an obstacle but an actual partner with the legitimate goals of government; but at the same time a partner that contributes to the conversation and the plans and will help the city achieve its goals in a practical and effective manner using the vast knowledge of the most successful cab operators in the world.

New York City Taxis provide an iconic and integral part of the city’s transportation needs – It does this without any public funds or subsidies and contributes far more to the city’s budget then almost any private industry – GNYTA will never shy from reminding regulators who may seek to not only regulate but also manage this private industry that the strength of industry lies largely on the wisdom of its investors and managers – Yet GNYTA will always recognize that it thrives largely because the taxi industry is a living part of the greatest city in America and must like our great city, rise to meet all of its various challenges.
